Ticket names and identification
Colosseum tickets are issued in each visitor’s name. Check everyone’s details and bring the original identification document with the ticket. Name corrections follow specific rules, so do not assume that a booking can be freely transferred to someone else.

Meeting point and early arrival
A meeting near a metro exit or at an operator's office is different from joining the monument entrance. Read the selected option's instructions and early-arrival requirement. If the supplier changes the time, confirm which appointment the new message replaces.
Colosseum opening hours for your date
Opening and last-entry times change by season. Check the current official schedule and your reserved slot, especially for an afternoon or evening plan. A ticket's validity window does not let you ignore the timed Colosseum entry.
Security checks before Colosseum entry
Reserved admission should not be interpreted as bypassing security checks. Keep the operator's required arrival buffer and check the park's current visitor rules before deciding what to carry.
Allow time for the Roman Forum and Palatine
Check whether the guide continues with you or whether this part is independent. The wider archaeological area includes slopes and uneven surfaces. Match the route to your walking needs, and do not squeeze another fixed appointment against an uncertain finish time.
Colosseum accessibility: check your exact route
The park provides accessible routes and lifting facilities, but a supplier's complete itinerary can still include unsuitable surfaces, stairs or transport. Describe your needs and ask about the full journey, including the meeting point, assistance and any lift-dependent section.
Cancellation and changes to your visit
Cancellation, substitutions and name corrections are separate questions. Check the selected supplier option's terms and resolve any contradiction before payment. Keep the confirmed option, date, route and meeting instructions together for the visit.
For a combination day or a cruise departure, compare the whole journey as carefully as the Colosseum visit: transfers, separate meeting points, breaks and the final drop-off all affect whether the plan works.
