Who is this Colosseum tour for?
Why consider it
Useful when underground access and a private Forum explanation matter, but you do not need a guided hill extension or return transfer.
A good fit for: Private underground visits with hotel pickup
Know the tradeoff
The guided Palatine visit belongs to the Luxury option; uneven steps make this route unsuitable for significant mobility difficulties.
Reconsider if: You expect a guided Palatine visit and return car
What distinguishes this option: “Classic Version” is the three-hour core with pickup; “Luxury Version” adds a half-hour guided Palatine extension and drop-off.
