Who is this Colosseum tour for?
Why consider it
This suits visitors who want recorded commentary at their own pace plus practical assistance at check-in, without joining a live guided tour.
A good fit for: Independent visitors wanting standard admission and app setup help
Know the tradeoff
Arena access is explicitly excluded. The meeting instructions conflict between Santi Cosma e Damiano and Via Frangipane 30, and you must supply a compatible phone and earphones.
Reconsider if: You need a live guide or an unambiguous meeting location
What distinguishes this option: “Colosseum with Audio Guide App” is the standard audio package without arena; “Colosseum + Arena + AudioGuide” upgrades to the arena while keeping the self-guided format.
