Who is this Colosseum tour for?
Why consider it
A fit for a party wanting its own guide and the arena viewpoint while keeping substantial guided time in the ancient city.
A good fit for: Private arena-focused sightseeing with guided ruins
Know the tradeoff
Private guiding does not expand admission: regular levels, underground and upper tiers remain excluded.
Reconsider if: You expect a complete Colosseum-level circuit
What distinguishes this option: “English | Private Guide” makes “English | Small Group of Max 7”’s seven-person shared arena-only route private without adding other Colosseum areas.
